Subject : [Notice] CARBON TAX SURCHARGE (CTS) - Revised

Please be advised that CARBON TAX SURCHARGE (CTS) (HDMU-040, Rule No. 2-87) will be revised from January 5th  2020 to further notice.

And following amount will be applicable with effective start dates on or after January 5th, 2020.

To comply with the policy of Canada Government Carbon Reduction Policy, all cargo passes through rail through British Columbia (BC), Alberta (AB), Saskatchewan (SK), Manitoba (MB), Ontario (ON), Quebec (QC) and New Brunswick (NB) Canada, a Carbon Tax Surcharge (CTS) will be applicable as follows:

Via Vancouver to USA CY and its door USD 15.00 per all containers

to Calgary, AB and Edmonton, AB CY and its door USD 15.00 per all containers

to Regina, SK CY and its door USD 14.00 per all containers

to Saskatoon, SK CY and its door USD 13.00 per all containers

to Toronto, ON CY and its door USD 28.00 per all containers

to Montreal, QC CY and its door USD 29.00 per all containers

to WINNIPEG, MB CY and its door USD 16.00 per all containers

to Halifax, NS CY and its door USD 21.00 per all containers
